My name is Nina Korteweg, and I was born and raised in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. I recently completed my bachelor’s degree in Communication and Multimedia Design at Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda, where I developed a strong foundation as a multimedia, human-centered designer. This means that I’m able to find a way to find a users needs, and use it in a design. Throughout my studies, I discovered a passion for graphic design and UX design, and I seized opportunities to refine my skills in these areas. I gained valuable experience in UX design during an internship at Nextens and further expanded my knowledge of graphic design through a minor at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Tilburg.

I consider myself an empathetic person, which played a significant role in my choice of studies.I strive to stay true to my personal interests and design style. Something I believe strongly is that attention to detail is crucial in creating designs that are both compelling and sleek. I’ve been described as a sociable person, open to learning new things and willing to push myself during this process. Once I feel comfortable I’m out off my shell and assertively tackle my personal to-do list. I work well in a team, as well as by myself. However, I’m still working on asking other people for help and making use of the knowledge around me.
